Meet our Staff

Picture

           Pastor: Devon Maust Earle

My name is Devon Maust Earle, and I am Stanardsville United Methodist Church's pastor. I am a native Virginian, born and raised in Midlothian just south of Richmond. In youth group during high school, I met my husband Rob and we were married in August of 2014. Rob is a special education teacher at Ivy Creek in Albemarle County. I attended Randolph-Macon for college and Duke for my Master of Divinity(I am very aware that I am on another teams turf). As I explored a call to ministry, I interned in rural and urban churches, a children's home, Duke Hospital, and at the United Methodist Virginia Conference office in youth, young adult, and higher education ministries. I was ordained as an Elder in the United Methodist Church in June of 2018 while serving in my first full-time appointment as an associate pastor in Alexandria.
My husband and I enjoy the outdoors and are excited to be in the mountains. We like to hike, bike, rock climb, ski, and snowboard!  I am passionate about outreach, connecting the church with community, and I am looking forward to the opening of Stanardsville Station. One of the greatest gifts of ministry is being invited into the raw moments of life, to share with you in deep joys as well as hard moments. This is part of my story, and I look forward to hearing your stories. I love witnessing the hope and resilience and the ways that your stories intersect with God's story!

Office Administrator: Sue Endres

I have worked as the Stanardsville United Methodist Church secretary for 14 years. I am originally from Rochester, Minnesota. I have worked for several churches in the past and it feels like a privilege to work at Stanardsville UMC. I feel that working in the church is one of the best positions available- the people that I come across are good-hearted, kind people as a rule and there is diversity in tasks depending on the season of the church year.

Custodian: Sue Lam

My name is Sue Lam, I work at Virginia Linen and  have been cleaning Stanardsville United Methodist Church for the past twenty years. This church is a special place to me! At seventeen, I married the love of my life at Stanardsville UMC and we have been married for close to 45 years. We have two children, Jason who is married to Erin and Holly who is married to Kody. We also have six beautiful grandchildren, Lexi, Morgan, Brady, Gatelyn, Knoxx, and Nash.
I love flea markets and auctions- giving old furniture new life. I love the Lord and feel very blessed.
